The amps are dual stereo input and auto selecting. The Airplays have the override input since they also carry the house notifications like if my water is shutoff due to a leak detected in a specific room, an exterior gate is opened, my mailbox is opened, or a vehicle or person appears at the bottom of my isolated cul-de-sac, etc, etc (all of this works without the internet since it’s on prem).

The other input of each amp is driven by the not so aptly named and discontinued Echo Input which should have been called Echo Output as it’s an echo without a speaker and only has a line level out.

The Synology Audio Station works great and allows me to play the same music to multiple rooms or different music to different rooms at the same time.

The Echo Inputs are used for streaming music services (currently Spotify but have used them all). Amazon’s groups work great now that they’ve worked out the bugs, so I can create groups and stream to all the speaker zones that belong to any one group.

Since the Echo Inputs are all inside a server cabinet behind 17 inch rack mount amps along with my Synology and Unifi components, I’ve paired regular Echos in each room where the physical speakers are to the Echo Inputs driving those speakers. That way I can be in any room and tell Alexa to play this or that and it will play through the in-wall speakers in that room and NOT through the standalone Echo speaker in that room.

I get that most aren’t going to go through the hassle of wiring up their entire house. It was a lot of work for sure.

The Airplay devices are open so anyone who is on my network can attach to them from their Airplay compatible device which is typically iOS or MacOS device.

It is IMPOSSIBLE with Samsung to have different wallpapers on different home screens. And this go wallpaper app is also a 3rd party app, which takes away the original functionality of the Samsung launcher. One would think it’s supposed to be easy, but it’s not. We’ll non existant to be honest.

Logout? That doesn’t work nor does clearing all cookies etc. Nothing works. I’ve sent more than enough info to these DA, nothing works. Not an email, uploading required documents nothing.

You need to manually disable them via registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services

Click on the service you want to manage and use the value of 4 (4 mean the service will not start at the next boot) in the “Start” dword on the right panel.

I had the same issue and found another post with the answer. Replace 16 with the number you prefer. Reboot afterwards. You might also need to change the settings in this area: File > Options > Advanced > Display > change the drop down boxes to your preference

I updated in January to Microsoft Office 2013, my own license – I did not have this problem on Word 2010. I can update to Office 2016 if that helps, but I will not pay for 365.

Any “metallic” marker will show up on black, and to prevent rub off, I put a piece of clear tape. ONCE I started marking wall warts the minute I got them, my life has been easier, but if the wall wart does NOT LABEL the info, OR the item has no indicators, it is tricky. My question is, how can I use a multimeter to determine the un marked product?

hey susan, i used SystemUI Tuner by zachary wander.. i installed it and i dont remember exactly what i did, but i killed the notification and then i uninstalled it immediately due to the documentations warning about how powerful the app is.. and to this day, the only time i see any vm notification is when i reboot, but i can swipe it and it doesnt return until i reboot again.. so idk what the app did but whatever it was made it far less annoying to the point that im satisfied.. im going to try to find the site that told me what to do because those are the instructions i think i followed.. ill reply again if i find it.. it looks like i downloaded the apk back in january so findind the exact site i visited that told me to try it isnt going to be straightforward as i think chrome browser history only goes back 90 days.. but i will still try because now im curious.. good luck heres the playstore link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zacharee1.systemuituner
